#1 - Tails of a Founder: The Aramesh Journey
Share
Hi, you! If you're reading this, chances are you're a friend, family member, or someone who's already discovered Aramesh. I'm not a professional writer, and I don’t have a team of marketing gurus behind this blog. It's just me, sharing my journey in the hope that it might reach and resonate with some of you.
I'm deeply passionate about sustainability, a theme that's been central to my career. I've worked across various fields, from startups and NGOs to venture capital, all with a focus on sustainable practices. Currently, I'm managing the Sustainability Ventures program at The Sustainability Mafia , an organization with a name as quirky as its ambitious mission. We support over 70 climate founders dedicated to making sustainability the default choice for all. The program I manage aims even higher, seeking to launch 100 climate startups over the next three years.
Drawing on the extensive experience from my career in sustainability, I've been motivated to grow my own venture, Aramesh, which means 'serenity' in Persian. Aramesh is all about creating harmony between pets, nature, and style. Our goal is to introduce holistic pet care that's 100% transparent and gentle on both animals and the planet, while also being enjoyable and fashionable.
We started with sustainable collars and leashes, but that's just the beginning. There's much more coming, and I plan to share each step of this journey through this blog. From the challenges of sustainable product design to the daily grind of business operations, I'll offer insights that might help other entrepreneurs—carefully, so I don’t give away too much to those competitors!
I believe in the power of sharing knowledge to make sustainability the norm. Whether you're a pet owner, a budding entrepreneur, or simply someone interested in making a positive impact, I invite you to follow this blog, engage with the content, and join Aramesh & me in making a difference.
See you in the next blog!
